There will be 80 teams made up of women and men to participate in one ofBlue Ridge Mountain Adventure Race the most talked about races in all of Blue Ridge. The 3 man teams will hike, mountain bike, run and kayak in the Chattahoochee National Forest. The race starts in a secret location in the Chattahoochee Forest and will follow a physically hard course into Ducktown Blue Ridge Park. There will be live music, food, art and lots of fun as well as the finish line. Arts In The Park

Arts In The ParkArts in the park is an annual event that takes place in Blue Ridge, GA every Memorial Day weekend. This 3 day event includes over 200 booths that include arts and crafts for the whole family. You can shop among the finest art and enjoy the individual products produced by the artists themselves. There is live music, food and booths of opportunities to win prizes. This event has been recognized as one of the top 20 events by Southeastern Tourism Society. Grab your instruments and friends and join us for a hoot n howlin' time. Casual jam sessions for acoustic musicians are held under the trees and pavillions along the Toccoa River at Ron Henry Horseshoe Bend Park every Thursday evening from 6 p.m. until dusk May through September.   Admission is free to musicians of all levels and listeners who appreciate and want to enjoy good music. So bring your picnic supper and desserts and get ready to enjoy some music! There is a nice playground for the little ones and a large open area for the older kids in the family. No need to leave anyone behind. Miners Homecoming, Fourth of July

Miners homecoming will be held in Ducktown, TN on the July 4th weekend. We will have old fashioned Independence Day fireworks. They are shot from Tater Hill in downtown McCaysville-Copperhill on the 4th of July at dark-thirty. The Fourth of July Kiwanis parade and festivities will take place on July 5th. These festivities are also held in McCaysville-Copperhill.

In an effort to honor our rich heritage of mountain culture, the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association has designated each August as Heritage Days. Beginning with the Annual Quilt Exhibit, events include classes  in woodcarving, weaving, chair caning, alternate clay firing, Native American Flutes, Crochet Rag Rugs, and other mountain crafts.

This is a Western rodeo with bull riding, saddle bronc riding, calf roping, bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing and special events.
